TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The SELLER, NAKEDKITTIES SPHYNX, provides a THIRTY (30) day  warranty that the above kitten may be returned for ANY reason with a 100% refund. The SELLER also warranties that the kitten is free of the feline leukemia virus (FeLV), Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM), and the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) at the time of purchase.The kitten must be examined by your vet within 72 hours of purchase. The thirty(30)day warranty is void if kitten is not examined.The BUYER must notify the SELLER of any claim under the warranty immediately. If a veterinarian finds the above kitten / cat to have a life-threatening illness, he / she should write and sign a short note on his / her letterhead stationary explaining his / her findings. The kitten may be returned to the SELLER for a full refund or exchange for a new kitten / cat. If no replacement is available at the time of return, the SELLER will have up to one year to furnish a comparable kitten / cat. The kitten / cat cannot be returned for cash compensation after the 30 day period. It is highly recommended that the above kitten / cat be quarantined during the first 72 hours. Under NO circumstances is the kitten / cat allowed to be “destroyed” prior to notification of the SELLER. SELLER is not responsible for illness, injury, or death caused by or during shipping. Insurance will be taken out at the time of shipping, and BUYER is responsible for filing any claims in the event of loss of life during shipping process. We prefer that you come in person to pickup the above kitten / cat.,we can meet at a cat show, or I can also fly to deliver your cat to you.


If the kitten described above should die within a year of the date of purchase due to a congenital or hereditary defect, the SELLER will replace the kitten / cat with another kitten / cat of equal or better quality at no cost to BUYER. The BUYER must send copies of the vets reports. The SELLER will make every attempt to replace the kitten / cat with a kitten / cat of equal or better color, marking, and quality within a timely manner.


The SELLER will have completed all of the age-appropriate vaccinations, worming, medical examining, by the time of purchase. If the BUYER chooses to vaccinate for feline infectious peritonitis (FIP), ringworm, feline leukemia virus (FeLV), or feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV), this warranty is *VOID*. Also, SELLER will not warranty the kitten against any adverse reactions to future vaccinations. In the event of a claim, proof of vaccinations and well-cat vet visits must be supplied in writing by the applicable veterinarian.  Initial that you have read and understand this paragraph and breeder has explained it to you.

BUYER accepts the responsibility of caring for the kitten / cat and will provide properly for its welfare. BUYER agrees to keep the kitten / cat indoors at all times in a clean and pleasant environment, not caged, and with proper nutrition, health care (including yearly veterinarian examinations and vaccinations), companionship, and adequate space for exercise.

Due to the lack of fur, Sphynx are more easily chilled than some other breeds. BUYER agrees to provide a suitable warm place for the kitten / cat at all times. We also suggest that you clean litter boxes daily and provide at least one litter box per each two cats.  The quality of pet food will directly impact the health and well being of your Sphynx cat/kitten.

BUYER understands that if the kitten / cat is found to be neglected or mistreated in any way SELLER shall have the unconditional right to reclaim the above kitten / cat without refund of the purchase price. Neglect shall include, but is not limited to: being left alone without human companionship for periods in excess of 72 hours, lack of proper sanitary facilities, being caged, providing poor diet, and poor health. Mistreatment shall include, but is not limited to: lack of proper food, lack of proper medical care, lack of fresh water, and any form of physical abuse. BUYER will be responsible for any veterinary bills directly incurred as a result of any neglect or mistreatment.

BUYER understands that if the kitten / cat is declawed it will render the guarantee *VOID*. BUYER understands that declawing is a mutilation involving the amputation of a large portion of the kitten / cat’s toes, which is likely to alter the kitten / cat’s temperament and general well-being. BUYER agrees that above kitten / cat will NEVER be declawed and that adequate scratching posts and regular nail trimming will be provided.

BUYER agrees that under NO circumstances will the kitten / cat ever be sold, leased, or given to any pet shop, animal shelter, research laboratory, or similar facility. Should BUYER not be able to keep the above kitten / cat for any reason, including the incapacitation or death of the BUYER, the SELLER has the first right of refusal to take / buy the above kitten / cat back or assist in finding a suitable new home for the kitten / cat. This remains in effect for the entire life of the kitten / cat. Our job to place our cats in forever homes. If for any reason you can not keep the cat call SELLER FIRST.

NOTE: It is understood that degrees of hairlessness in Sphynx vary from cat to cat and that no Sphynx is completely hairless. It is understood that hormones, climate, and genetics play an important role in hairlessness and that even though a Sphynx kitten may be almost hairless when sold, it is possible that said kitten could develop some hair after being neutered / spayed or as it grows older. It is also impossible to guarantee that any Sphynx kitten / cat will not grow some hair at some point in the future. 

BUYER agrees to provide weekly baths and ear cleanings along with daily eye cleaning (as required).

Any legal action which may arise under the terms of this contract will be brought in Clark County, Nevada USA. BUYER shall be liable for any court costs and related charges including attorney’s fees associated with SELLER enforcing the terms of this contract. In signing this document, BUYER acknowledges that he / she has read, fully understands, and agrees to ALL of the terms and conditions stated above. The laws of the State of Nevada shall be controlling.

BUYER and SELLER agree to ALL of the above stated terms.
