At Nakedkitties we feed a totally raw diet to all our animals. Not one drop of commercial food is fed here ever. I know of too many pets who got sick and died from the last pet food recall. Google "elephant in pet food " and you will be horrified. They actually use the carcasses of euthanized pets to make this crap in cities with factories. Nakedkitties cats eat the recipe at Catnutrition.org. I follow this recipe to the "T" and boy have I had good results. All of my Sphynx have that nice round belly. They do not have greasy skin or waxy ears. I believe this is from the raw feeding.
I am not going to go on about all the great attributes to the feeding. Go check out the Catnutrition.org website. I make all my food once a month and freeze it. I then take out a fresh container every night and place in the refrigerator to thaw.
Now someone force me to eat healthy!

I also give them a chicken raw chicken wing to chew on twice a week. This will keep you from having those expensive teeth cleanings done. I put them in the bathtub so they don't get raw chicken germs all over my house.

The only problem I have had with this process is the grinder. I have purchased two of the cheaper models. Neither has been up to the pounding I give them. I bought the LEM ($269) first and it stinks. It will not even grind boneless chicken breasts. Stay away. I ordered it from Pleasant Mills Grain .They have given me a full refund. Next I tried the Tasin ($185) recommended on Catnutrition.org. It broke before I finished my first batch. I had to send it back and wait for it to be repaired. That took about 3 weeks. I fed preground chicken during that time. It is expensive and has much more bacteria than grinding your own. Since its return it is working fine. It does bog down and go slow but keeps on grinding. I make huge quantities of food and would love to buy a commercial grinder. It's not in my budget unfortunately. If you can afford the better ones buy it first, don't waste time and money on a cheapie.  I really want to buy from  American Eagle whose whole site is geared to Raw Fooders. Not someone trying to make some homemade sausage. They guarantee all grinders regardless of what you grind. They sell all kinds of neat stuff for Raw Fooding as well. www.northcoastmarines.com
